Amit Tailor is a basketball analyst for Pro Insight.

For the past decade, Tailor has been on coaching staffs in the NBA, G League, and college ranks. Most recently, he served as Manager of Basketball Operations for the Grand Rapids Gold, the minor league affiliate of the Denver Nuggets. Prior to that, he spent a season with the Houston Rockets as a Video & Player Development Associate, working closely with the Rockets young players like Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun.

Amit spent 6 years as the Video Coordinator with Clemson Men’s Basketball, reaching the NCAA Tournament twice while helping the Tigers integrate advanced video breakdown techniques into their workflows. He worked closely with the coaching staff in opponent scouting, recruiting evaluations, and other research projects to aid the staff’s data-driven approach to basketball strategy and team building. Prior to his time at Clemson, he spent a season at Santa Clara and 2 seasons at the University of Florida, both with men’s basketball in video capacities where he broke down game video and did guided research projects under current NBA head coaches Billy Donovan and Mark Daigneault.

Tailor currently lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife Rekha.
