In the latest edition of ‘P.I. Pulse,’ Pro Insight’s Esayas Gebrekidan highlights prospects who stood out at this month's UA Future 60 camp after spending time on the ground at the event in Bradenton, Florida:
Event Standouts
Tai Bell
Miami Country Day (FL) | SOH Elite (FL) | 6’2” Guard | 2028
Tai Bell, a prospect we’ve been tracking for over three years, is a two-way guard who can control the pace of the game on offense while being an elite defender. Offensively, he plays with pace and scores at all three levels, but what stood out the most is his ability to play and finish through contact at the rim. He also has the court vision while getting downhill to make live-dribble reads and find teammates at the right time. Bell's play on the defensive end is impactful, as well, as he speeds up ball-handlers and is relentless with ball pressure. His instincts were on full display, too, as he regularly generated steals by playing the passing lanes. Overall, Bell's IQ, awareness and instincts on both ends make him a special talent.
Chase Branham
Logan-Rogersville (MO) | KC Run GMC (MO) | 6’4” Guard | 2027
The sky's the limit for Chase Branham, who left a strong impression after his weekend at the Future 60. From drills to the games, he stood out with his effort, pace, unselfish play, and ability to impact games on both ends of the floor. Branham has a high IQ, plays within the flow of the game and displays great awareness as a secondary playmaker and defender. He can score in a variety of ways and from anywhere on the floor and can impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. Branham’s stock will continue to rise as he has the potential to be an impactful two-way threat at the next level.

Patrese Feamster
Friends Central School (PA) | Philly Pride (PA) | 6’4” Guard | 2027
Currently flying under-the-radar, it's only a matter of time before Feamster hears from high major coaches. Throughout Future 60, he was patient and knew when to assert himself – when he did so, he put his foot on the gas to beat defenders with a quick first step and was shifty enough to stop and get to his mid-range jumper. No defender could prohibit him from generating a paint touch and he displayed impressive body control and an ability to finish near the rim, through defenders. His multi-level scoring was evident – from step-backs to pull-up threes – but most notable was his decision making. When opponents stunted and played the gaps, Feamster knew when to kick and dump-off with great timing and awareness. He’s the type of player that any coach would love to have and has the upside to become an elite scoring guard.

Anthony Gonzalez
Seton Hall Prep (NJ) | NJ Shore Shots (NJ) | 6’2” Guard | 2027
When the dust settles, Anthony Gonzalez may wind up as one of the single-biggest stock-risers in this UA 2027 class. The overall guard play at Future 60 was strong and Gonzalez set the tone early with his rebounding and offensive potency in transition. He consistently pushed the pace, punishing the defense for getting back slowly with countless uncontested finishes at the rim. When the defense caught on and looked to stop him on the break, he displayed his vision and facilitated, as he easily found teammates running the floor. In the half-court, he thrives getting into the paint, can get going in the mid-range, all while posing a threat as a table-setter for others.
Draydne McDaniel
Calvary Christian Academy (FL) | SOH Elite (FL) | 6’7” Forward | 2029
Draydne McDaniel may only be entering his freshman year of high school at Calvary Christian, but he’s already played a role on the State Championship team as an eighth-grader. His mature and developed frame, athleticism, size, length, and versatility make him an elite prospect to track over the next few years. McDaniel showed flashes of three-level scoring, attacked opponents off the dribble and punished smaller match-ups in the post. His off-ball movement was lethal as well, as he displayed great instincts as a cutter. He can also initiate offense with his push up the floor in the open court following a defensive rebound. Defensively, he can switch onto guards effectively and also uses his strong frame to keep bigs off the glass, making them work in the post. McDaniel’s entire arsenal was on display at Future 60 and these attributes will make him one of the top prospects in the 2029 class.

Godson Okokoh
Iowa United (IA) | Canada Elite (CAN) | 6’9” Forward | 2027
Godson Okokoh possesses elite athleticism, a plus-wingspan and clear two-way ability. He did a great job finishing plays on both ends of the floor throughout the event, whether it was converting put-backs or by erasing shots as a rim protector. Okokoh provides versatility on both ends, as well, with an ability to play on the wing and face up, or leverage his size advantage over smaller opponents in the post. On defense, his length and lateral agility help keep guards in front and he also adds major value as a weak-side rim-protector.
