PORTLAND, Ore. (October 23, 2026) — Light the Game, in collaboration with Pro Insight, has announced the player and staff rosters for the fourth annual Light the Game Combine (formerly the Pro Insight Pop-Up Run), set for Saturday, October 24, at Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon.

Bringing together a select group of the Pacific Northwest's top basketball prospects, the invitation-only event is designed to create meaningful opportunities for young athletes to compete, develop, and gain exposure in front of college coaches, scouts, and national media. Rooted in Light the Game's mission to expand access and remove barriers in youth basketball, the comprehensive, day-long experience features competitive five-on-five games and skill development stations under the direction of lead court coach Beth Mounier, along with NBA Combine-style measurements and athletic testing led by longtime NBA sports performance coach Bob Medina.

Beyond the on-court programming, participants will benefit from an interactive lunchtime panel moderated by Mounier, featuring Medina, Pro Insight's Tyler Glazier, and former NBA lottery pick and 10-year veteran Martell Webster. Athletes will also receive complimentary products courtesy of GRRR, with all programming and participation provided entirely free of charge.

“As someone who was born and raised in Seattle and has called Portland home since 2012, the Pacific Northwest will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Matt McKay, co-founder of Light the Game and founder of Pro Insight. “I'm incredibly passionate about investing in the next generation of athletes in our own backyard. This event is about more than basketball — it's about celebrating the talent in our region, creating meaningful opportunities, and providing a platform for young people to gain the exposure and support they deserve. Light the Game allows us to bring that vision to life, and it's something I'm committed to continuing for as long as I can.”

The 2026 Light the Game Combine will be streamed live and free of charge via Synergy Sports. Click here to watch the action.

Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. PDT, with programming beginning at 10:00 a.m., games starting at 12:20pm and concluding at approximately 5:30 p.m.
