2026 prospect Ikenna Alozie is off to an impressive start on the Nike EYBL Circuit, helping lead the Utah Prospects to a 5-2 record. Through seven games, he’s averaging 18.4 points and 7 rebounds per contest.

Pro Insight caught up with Alozie to discuss his game, recruitment, and what he’s looking for at the next level.

“I am just a big-time facilitator. I am always trying to get my team engaged, and I am always trying to do whatever it takes to help my team win,” said the Nigerian native.

Even with his strong production, Alozie is focused on continuing to round out his skill set.

“I really want to improve my shot selection. I am trying to always make sure I take good shots when I have the opportunity. I can also always improve my passing ability, I want to always make sure I make the right passes for my team.”

As for what he’s looking for in a college program, Alozie has both on-court and off-court priorities.

“I just want to go to a place where I can be myself. I also want to go to a place that has a real family atmosphere. I want to find a place that really feels like home. It will also be important for me to find a play where I can have success with my style of play.”

Right now, his recruitment remains wide open.

“I am completely open to everybody right now. No one school is talking to me the most right now. I am enjoying talking to all of the schools that are talking to me right now, and I will be cutting down my list soon.”

That said, Alozie plans to narrow things down soon.

“I want to cut my list down soon. When I cut my list down, I will be cutting it down to 8 schools. When I name my final 8 schools, I will then be able to visit some schools and get a good feel of all the schools that I am looking at.”

Wherever he ends up, Alozie knows what kind of impact he wants to make.

“Just being as good of a point guard as I can be. I want to be the guy leading my team to a national title at the point guard position.”
