PORTLAND, ORE., OCTOBER 7, 2022 — PrimeTime Sports LLC together with Pro Insight today announced that the sixth edition of the PrimeTime 40 Showcase powered by Pro Insight will return to Portland, Ore. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. The annual invite-only event offers high school athletes from the Pacific Northwest the opportunity to showcase their elite basketball talents in front of college coaches and national media.
“We are thrilled to once again host the Prime Time 40 Showcase, providing the young athletes from our area an unparalleled one-day camp experience” said event director Reggie Walker. “Every year the event serves as a hub for the best players in the region to compete against one another in a structured setting, while receiving high-level instruction from our staff. ‘PT40 6.0’ will be no different, we are expecting our most competitive year to date.”
During the one-day camp, athletes from the 2024-26 high school classes receive instruction from top basketball coaches and trainers while competing for recognition amongst their peers. The competitive environment is highlighted by combine-style measurements and athletic testing conducted by BAM Testing, the official partner of the NBA Draft Combine since 2007. Participants will also receive free product courtesy of Nike Basketball and there is no cost for the exclusive event.
Among the notable PT40 alumni are Payton Pritchard (Boston Celtics), Nathan Bittle (Oregon), Isaac Bonton (Lithuania), Aaron Deloney (Vermont), Ben Gregg (Gonzaga) Kamaka Hepa (Hawaii), Nolan Hickman (Gonzaga), Koren Johnson (Washington), Wayne McKinney (San Diego), Shane Nowell (UNLV), Kaden Perry (Gonzaga), Zach Reichle (Oregon State), Erik Stevenson (West Virginia), Tanner Toolson (BYU), and Marcus Tsohonis (Long Beach State).
Official invites will be extended to select athletes in the coming days. Player lists, staff in attendance and additional information will be provided at a later date.
