Recruiting Roundup: Liam Campbell

Liam Campbell is a 2024 prospect who’s really picking up steam. The 6-foot-5 guard has a special skillset and college programs all over the country are taking notice.

Campbell plays the game at his pace. With his ability to stretch the defense with his range shooting paired with his adept decision making as a playmaker, he’s an extremely difficult matchup for opponents.

Last week, Campbell spent time with Pro Insight’s Jake Lieberman to chat about the latest with his recruitment.

For the next installment of “Recruiting Roundup,” we present class of 2024 prospect Liam Campbell, from Northridge, California:

Pro Insight: What are you hoping to show NCAA coaches this upcoming high school season?

Liam Campbell: I’m hoping to show coaches that I’m a team player and that I’ll do anything to make sure that we win.

PI: Which programs would you say are currently prioritizing you the most or expressing the most interest?

LC: I would say USC, St. Mary’s, Utah, Boise State, Stanford, and Santa Clara.

PI: Where have you visited thus far? Do you have any future visits planned?

LC: I’ve visited Santa Clara, USC, Stanford, and Boise State as unofficials this past year.

PI: Do you have any upcoming visits planned?

LC: I have no official visits planned at the moment, but I’m going to, soon.

PI: What would you say you value most in a college program?

LC: What I value the most in a college program is the culture and the relationship with the coaches. I also want to be in a program that’ll get me better in the future, and that will help me reach my goal of playing in the NBA.

PI: How do you project your role at the next level?

LC: I see myself as a shooting guard who brings many attributes to the team. I also see myself as being a leader.

PI: What's your pre-game pump-up song/artist?

LC: Pre game song is EA by 21 Savage. Then, my pump up artists would be Drake or Lil Baby.

PI: Which player in the NBA or college would you compare your game to?

LC: I would say a little bit of Kawhi Leonard and Dennis Rodman. I love the midrange like Kawhi, and I’ll work super hard and fight every play like Dennis Rodman.

PI: How is your timeline looking?

LC: At the moment, I have no idea when I'm going to cut my list or commit.
